Conduct of Operations and Results: Operation was a relative success as judged by the loss figures, but no details concerning it have been found in either the German or Yugoslav records and literature, aside from an obscure book about the Cossacks in the German Army. The Cossack Division had only just arrived in Yugoslavia from Poland and was assigned to the LXIX. Res.Armeekorps effective 5 October. The operation was its baptism of fire and it performed well. The mountains were thoroughly combed and the Partisans denied a major troop concentration and supply area, at least for awhile.
Losses (from German sources)
Germans: 3 killed and 2 wounded.
Partisans: 217 killed and 89 captured.
