352. Volksgrenadier-Division was formed in Schleswig-Holstein Sep 1944 from the partially formed 581. Volksgrenadier-Division. It was sent to the Western Front Nov 1944 and fought at the Eifel, Ardennes and Rhineland.
It was destroyed Mar 1945 and reformed as a Kampfgruppe the following month.
Known war crimes
Soldiers from the division killed at least two civilians in the Belgian village of Tandel 16 December 1944 during the fighting in the Ardennes.
