Kommandant der Seeverteidigung Ostpreußen by Gareth Collins
Formed on 22 Jan 1945 in Pillau from the division of Seekommandant Ost-und Westpreußen. The Seekommandant was also designated Festungskommandant von Pillau and Kommandant der Seewasserstraße Frisches Haff. The area of command was the province of East Prussia that was still in German hands. When Pillau fell on 25/26 April 1945 the Command was dissolved.
