IV. SS-Panzerkorps was formed June 1943 in France and took command of the Waffen-SS divisions reforming to Panzer-Divisions. It absorbed VII. SS-Panzerkops July 1944 and was sent to the Eastern front Aug 1944 were it remained until ending the war in Austria.

Footnotes 1. SS-Werfer-Abteilung 104 was formed in September 1943 as Werfer-Abteilung Generalkommando IV. SS-Panzerkorps and redesignated SS-Werfer-Abteilung 104 in October 1943. It was reformed as SS-Werfer-Abteilung 504 in Juy 1944 with five batteries. It was used to fight the Warsaw Uprising in September and later in the attempts to break the encirclement of Budapest.
