SS-Freiwilligen Legion Flandern was formed when SS-Freiwilligen-Verband Flandern was redesignated. It was redesignated SS-Freiwilligen Sturmbrigade Langemarck 31 May 1943.
Order of battle (Oct 1941) Stab 1. Schützen-Kompanie 2. Schützen-Kompanie 3. schwere Infanterie-Kompanie 4. schwere Granatwerfer-Kompanie 5. PaK-Kompanie (3,7cm)
Insignia The "Frw. Legion Flandern", "Freiw. Legion Flandern", "Legion Flandern" and "Flandern" cuff titles were used.
