The Französische SS-Freiwilligen-Sturmbrigade (also known as Brigade Frankreich and Brigade d'assut des volontaires français) was formed 18 July 1944 around a cadre from the Französische SS-Freiwilligen-Grenadier-Regiment.
It merged with the Légion des Volontaires Français in August 1944 to form the Waffen-Grenadier-Brigade der SS Charlemagne (französische Nr.1).
