The Galizisches SS Freiwilligen Regiment 4 (Polizei) was formed in July 1943.
One battalion was transferred to the Netherlands in February 1944. The rest of the regiment was destroyed near Brody in May 1944 and the survivors were transferred to the 14. Waffen-Grenadier-Division der SS.
