The Reichswehr-Brigade 5 Glogau of the Vorläufige Reichswehr was formed in June 1919 from the Freikorps units Freiwilligen 10. Infanterie-Division and Freikorps Görlitz.

It merged with Reichswehr-Brigade 27 in February 1920 into Reichswehr-Brigade 5 of the Übergangsheer and was disbanded in December 1920.
