10. Fallschirmjäger-Division was originally ordered to form in September 1944 but this was soon cancelled. It was formed in March 1945 in the Graz area from a large number of different units, including parachute units fighting in Italy and Jagdgeschwader 101.
It fought in Austria and Moravia until surrendering to the Red Army at Iglau.
