The Division Raegener was formed on 4 February 1945 from elements of Division Nr. 433 and Division Nr. 463 with the additional manpower from numerous smaller units including the Volkssturm and Polizei-Schützen-Regiment 34. It was destroyed in the fighting on the Oder in April.
