On 6 May 1945 five Obergefreiter from Nachrichten-Kompanie (mot.) Dänemark 1 are found to have withdrawn from the troops, taking with them their vehicles and weapons. In a letter they left behind they declare their refusal to hand over their weapons and that they are determined to keep on fighting.
