Formed during the second half of November 1941 in Sanski Most, located 41 km due west of Banja Luka in West Bosnia, with a Battalion HQ and 1st – 4th Rifle Co. totaling 600 men. (1)


Operational History

Jun 42: Battalion participated in Operation “West-Bosnien”.
3 Jan 43: now had 3 companies with a total of 354 men.
28 Feb 43: garrison defense of Sanski Most under the tactical control of German 714. Inf.Div.
Mar 43: renamed II Bn./Domdo Regiment Banja Luka.
