Panzer-Kompanie z.b.V. 12

The Panzer-Kompanie z.b.V. 12 was formed in June 1941 in Yugoslavia as Panzer-Kompanie Führer-Gruppe z.b.V. 12 and was equipped with captured French Char B1 tanks. It was redesignated Panzer-Kompanie z.b.V. 12 on 1 April 1942 and in August-September 1943 they received 16 B2 tanks from Prinz Eugen in exchange for 9 Hotchkiss 38 tanks.
It was upgraded into Panzer-Abteilung z.b.V. 12 on 15 April 1944.
